“Willa, I’m so happy to see yo-“ Said Grace but was stopped when Willhermina said angrily through clenched teeth. “Don’t call me that. I hate being called “Willa”"

“I-I’m sorry Willhermina. I didn’t mean to upset you.” Grace said with a quiet and worried voice, looking at the ground and noticing the bundle of roses.

“These were meant for me.” Grace said while picking up the bundle of roses. She then stood up and looked at the tombstone behind her. Bloody tears were streaming down her face when she had read the writing on the tombstone.

“I died…..but I’m not dead, I’m alive.” Said Grace her voice shaking a little.

“You are neither dead nor alive. You are undead, a vampire.” Said Willhermina.

Grace turned around to look at her sister in surprise and said “Vampire, but those are just myths and stories to scare children.”

“Well it’s obvious that they aren’t myths anymore. You are now proof of that.” Said Willhermina with a slight tone of annoyance.

At that note Grace looked at her hands and saw them dirty and bleeding. But looking past that she saw that her hands and arms really have changed color and thanks to the moonlight she can see that her hands are midnight blue in color. She also saw that her fingernails are still sharp even after clawing at the coffin lid and digging her way out. She ran her fingers through her hair and saw that even her hair color had changed from green to midnight blue. Grace remembered the two wounds on the left side of her neck. Only one thing was left to check, so Grace’s hand went to her mouth and she felt two long fangs that could be seen poking out of her mouth.

“Does everyone who turns into vampires change like this?” Asked Grace.

“I have never met one, before you.” Said Willhermina, who was still annoyed.

“But, where will I go now. I can’t go back home, everyone know that I am dead.” Said Grace with a worried look.

“It pains me to tell you this but, you can come with me and stay for a while.” Said Willhermina who looked even angrier than before.

When Grace heard her sister say that she could come with her, she gave a relieved smile and said. “You’d let me stay with you after all these years.”

“But only for a while.” Said Willhermina.

“Yes, of course I’ll come with you. Shall we go now?” Said Grace who was absolutely beaming with joy.

“No, not yet. You’re dead and everyone knows that you’ve been murdered, so you’ll need these.” Said Willhermina while she was opening the pouch around her waist.

Grace was confused by what Willhermina meant when she opened the pouch. She was surprised when she saw Willhermina’s hand go deep down, further than the pouch looked and pulled out a white scarf. Willhermina handed Grace the scarf and told her to put it on.

“We don’t want to attract any attention to yourself with those fang marks on your neck. Just in case.”

Grace took the white scarf and wrapped it around her neck neatly so that it looked good. Willhermina’s hand went back in the pouch and she pulled out a neatly folded black cloak that was just like hers. Grace took the cloak, unfolded it and put it on. The cloak covered her and the dress she was wearing from shoulder to toe. When Grace was ready she looked at her sister and saw her covering her head and was again surprised at her hat disappearing into the hood of her cloak. Grace snapped out of it when she saw Willhermina walking away. So, she pulled the hood on her cloak over her head and hurried after Willhermina.

Willhermina and Grace walked together to try and find a way out of the cemetery, when all of a sudden Grace asked. “Um, Willhermina. How could you get this scarf and cloak and your hand so deep into that tiny pouch around your waist.”

“It’s a pouch that was made with witchcraft and the same goes for my cloak.” Said Willhermina.

“And can I ask why you look like you do now.” Asked Grace.

“No, you may not.” Snapped Willhermina.

Grace stayed silent after that answer and looked around the cemetery for a while. The sisters finally found the exit out of the graveyard but it was locked. Willhermina did not want to look for another way out just to find that it would probably be locked as well. So, she held on to Grace, who was clearly surprised again, took a short run away from the gate and then ran towards the gate and jumped high up.

A couple of miles inside the cemetery, the old excadrill and his son were patrolling to make sure no one was inside the cemetery. They both held shovels in one hand and an old lantern in the other. “Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, son. There are a lot of bad mon’s out there and they might do something terrible to these graves.” Said the old excadrill man.

“Yes, father. Although, I don’t think anyone would be foolish enough to do anything while were here.” Said the young excadrill man. They stopped abruptly when they saw a shadowed figure jump up high and went over the locked gate. “Father, did you see that?” Asked the young excadrill man.

“I did. Come on, let’s go after it.” Said the old excadrill man. They both ran towards the gate when all of a sudden the old excadrill man fell down. The young excadrill man stopped and went to help his father. “Are you alright, father?” The young man asked.

“My foot is caught in a hole.” The old man answered.

The young man looked at where his father fell and saw that he was on a grave. “Father, you’ve fallen on a grave. You’re foot got caught in a hole on someone’s grave. Whose grave is it?” The young man told his father with a scared tone in his voice.

The old man moved his lantern towards the headstone and was shocked at what he found. “It’s the Goldhearts daughter.” He said while getting his foot out of the hole and standing up quickly.

“Do you think that maybe that shadowed figure…” Asked the young excadrill.

“We need to get the proper authority and fast.” Said the old excadrill man and started running to the furthest gate of the cemetery.
